Descriptions:

The unique pattern of this tapestry is a traditional pattern of the Black H'mong ethnic group living in Yen Bai Bprovince, the North of Vietnam.

The pattern is drawn by hand using melted beeswax and then colored with the natural indigo extract. The red zig-zag line and the diamond-shaped black-red-white appliqués were then stitched by hand.

The technique of drawing this specific pattern can only be mastered by experienced H'mong artisans through years of practice and it is a representative that distinguishes the Black H'mong in Yen Bai from other H'mong groups.

The trim of this wall hanging piece is made from raw hemp woven by hand with old-fashioned hand loom tools.

The back side of the tapestry is from beige cotton

The rattan hanger is not included
